I just wanted to mention that agents who post on their blogs need to realize that there is a Code of Ethics that we
subscribe too. With so many agents now blogging there is a tendency to get to personal on blogs and let’s face it, get a little sloppy.
I have read so many posts over the last year that are so close to violating this, that it is scary. I see people post what they call a “rant“.
When the person is directly or indirectly blogging about another agent, they may be in violation of Standard of Practice 15-2.
Remember the code…. I have included it for your reference!
National Association of REALTORS Code of Ethics:
• Standard of Practice 15-2
The obligation to refrain from making false or misleading statements about competitors’ businesses and competitors’ business practices includes the duty to not knowingly or recklessly repeat, retransmit, or republish false or misleading statements made by others. This duty applies whether false or misleading statements are repeated in person, in writing, by technological means (e.g., the Internet), or by any other means. (Adopted 1/07)

As a REALTOR I adhere to the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics and I believe most agents do too. If you are looking to buy or sell, be sure that your Agent is a member of the National Association of REALTORS.
