I like to keep things simple so I created a chart that shows a lot but is very basic:
These are sales from Albemarle County (Charlottesville Real Estate) going back to Janurary of 2004.
Now there are a couple of important points.
1. Note the yearly swings (our market starts at the end of winder and we tend to peak in the summer months).
2. Note since 2005, the peaks (total sales) have been decreasing… If you draw a trend line it makes since…
Simple Fact is that sales have slowed greatly and we are not seeing a break of the trend… yet….
