Albemarle County has announced the expanded data (Assessment information) is now available on the GIS-WEB site. Below is the official announcement:
Albemarle County website has made all real estate property record information that previously had resided on the County Assessor’s Website (Governmax) now available on the County’s GIS-Web site at http://gisweb.albem arle.org, providing expanded service for customers and resulting in an annual $15,000 cost savings for the County from the phasing out of Governmax.
I actually access this website daily and have saved it to my favorites. The interesting thing for the public is that it is a lot easier to see your plat lines as well as the values (assessed) of your and your neighbors homes!
